Chad Weber
Born in Wisconsin, I grew up in Maine especially enjoying the wonderful Maine summers and time on my grandparents’ farm in Door County, WI. (Kindergarden in Maine is where I met my wife. More on that later.). I was a three sport a year kid most of my life, but also appreciated being on my high school’s first state champion math team.
Even though I graduated first in my class, as I neared the end of high school, I recognized that I was going to struggle sticking to one major in college. So, I enlisted in the Army. After attending airborne school in GA, Russian language training in Monterrey, CA and the Army’s interrogation school in AZ, I was fortunate to serve in what was the Army’s only airborne interrogation company which was at Fort Bragg, NC.
After some time in the Army I left to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I then returned to Maine for law school which is where I also passed the bar exam and was a licensed member of the State Bar until the summer of 2022, all with the support of my soon-to-be wife, Jennifer. We have two daughters, Lauren and Kate.
Beginning my career in the financial services world in 2001 at Smith Barney, I am now proud to be a founding partner of 44 North Financial Partners under our broker/dealer, Commonwealth Financial Network. I take great pleasure in assisting our clients in organizing their financial plans ensuring that we address issues and tailor solutions in the areas of long-term retirement income planning, estate plan coordination, trusts for kids with special needs (my daughter, Kate, is a beautiful special needs kid), college funding, charitable giving and small business retirement plan structures.
If you want to get off topic for a while, ask me about disaster preparedness, aquaponic gardening or meditation and the wisdom of the monasteries.
I look forward to meeting YOU.
